Since 1979, the Gilroy Garlic Festival has been one of the most recognized and beloved food festivals in the country, welcoming visitors from around the world to enjoy great garlic food, live entertainment, cooking demonstrations, arts and crafts, and fun family activities.

Following a multi-year pause, the Festival has re-emerged at a new venue with strong community support, welcoming thousands of attendees in 2025. This next chapter focuses on thoughtful growth while preserving the Festival’s identity and community roots.
