Sarsaparilla Glazed Wild West Burgers and Southwest Sweet Potatoes Wins Top Honors in 2014 Great Garlic Cook-Off
Amateur chef Suzanne Clark from Phoenix AZ claimed the coveted garlic crown – and a $5,000 cash prize – as winner of the 2014 Great Garlic Cook-Off.
Clark beat out seven other finalists and won over the panel of celebrity judges with her presentation of “Sarsaparilla Glazed Wild West Burgers and Southwest Sweet Potatoes”.
Second place was awarded to Chera Little for Garlic Pepper Bacon Jam Pork Tenderloin Sliders with Fried “Piggles”. Third place was awarded to Jennifer Beckman for Crispy Pork Plantacos with Garlicky Black Bean Sauce.
